Santa Fe

A love for Native American art and paintings of sunsets aren't the only reasons to visit Santa Fe... Because their annual Film Festival turned out to be amazing. The Futurist played with avant-garde feature, Stay Until Tomorrow, directed by Laura Colella - a movie that also mixed video with 35 - which always looks so cool. We went, we saw, we took advantage of the open bar. And we met some awesome people from Albuquerque. Thanks Santa Fe - New Mexico loves their sci-fi.

The Futurist wins Queens

We won best student filmmaker at the Queens International Film Festival - a real honor, considering that both my parents are from Queens and went to Queens college - and I used to ride the 7 train into Flushing on a regular basis to stay with my Grandma in Whitestone.
Thanks to everyone who checked out the film when it screened, especially my Mom, Dad, and Grandma Bunny... and also Melissa. Most of all thanks to everyone who ran what I hear was an amazing festival this year.
